Muffin Top.

I admit I had not heard the term muffin top, and how it applied to a woman's stomach's, until after my first child.

Specifically, a fellow breastfeeding mom said" I would much rather have someone see my boobs than my muffin top."

From Wiki: "Muffin-top" is a generally pejorative slang term used to describe the phenomenon of overhanging flesh when it spills over the waistline of pants or skirt in a manner that resembles the top of a muffin spilling over its paper casing.

Stop pot baby muffin top with these belly bands.
These are soft and stretchy, and fit securely over your expanding belly without cutting off circulation. They easily hold up a pair of jeans, but stretch so well that they do not feel tight in any way. It is great to be able to wear your normal clothes longer, and also for that in between stage where maternity clothes are too big and regular clothes too small.

You will easily get your investment back on these belly bands. I wore them when I first got pregnant to hide the unbuttoned jeans, all the way to the end. Of course, unlike movies, my stomach did not rebound back into shape for the first few months, so this was used almost every day to hide the muffin top.

I now use them under shirts for the layered look.
Found under mommy's helpers (along with some other great finds) for 14.95, you will love these! Tons of colors to choose from.

Poll: Full Length Bib

I have been going back and forth on these bibs for over a month.

Personally, I love them.

This bib has been offered on my site for over a year, without one sale. The Resa Design bib does outstanding.
So, it made me wonder. What do you think? The price point is $35.00.

Would you purchase this?
Thanks, as always, for your excellent insight!

Comfy Crawlers

One of the very first companies I ever came into contact with was Gissy Bella. Three years ago, we met online, and became fast friends.

We each had two retail stores selling our goods. We would carefully research orders and share tips on how to grow larger. Each press mention was a victory, each dollar spent was monitored.

I have watched as Gissy Bella grow, and it has been fun to be a part of--a huge mention in the Costco connection, Amazon partnership, and most recently Target.com.
When I had Bryce, Marina sent me these Comfy Crawlers.

They are so practical and cute. I love that my son can crawl all over the pavement with nare a scratch to his soft knees. We are outside a lot these days, and nothing works better than these crawling pants. They come in all different styles- bodysuits, pants, one piece outfits, prints, and denim.
It has been fun being on this journey with you, and thanks for the adorable outfit for Bryce!

Ribbon Baby Mobiles

Have I told you I adore handmade?

Anything and everything.

I am inspired by the many artists featured here at MiniMe BabyGear.

These mobiles are no exception. I just love the whimsy. I love that they are unique. And at $25, I love the price. I am not sure I could even make one for that price.

Get yours in purple, blue, or pink.

Baby Legs Winner

Congrats to Shelly, who guessed 7 days.

The day after the birthday party, we woke up and the blue balloon was still afloat. I could not believe it.

Day after day passed, with the balloon still bobbing around. 7 days later, it finally fell flat. Since we have had many balloons that have not even made it to the party, I was pleasantly surprised this one lasted so long. Go Go Blue Balloon.

and congrats Shelly! Get me your address and I will send the babylegs stat.

My first son walked at ten months.

Scratch that.

He ran at ten months. He walked at nine.

So, this time around, I thought certainly Bryce would be walking around a year. 12 months passed, still no interest in walking. It is just so much more enjoyable for mom to carry him, and point and grunt at things.

We are approaching the 13 month mark and his knees wobble just standing.

Sigh.

I just started carrying these, and I bet if we had these, my son would walk more than ride.

Plus, when he is finished and actually walking, my other son can use them to hit him with, like with everything else in this house. Balls, trucks, you name it.
