Just one quick note: MiniMe BabyGear will be closed this Friday, March 13 for a much needed respite with my family. Please feel free to shop as normal; I just will not be available to answer any questions during that time.
All orders placed will be processed on Monday. Thanks again!

What is different about MiniMe BabyGear?
~Business-I believe all customers are a gift. I never take your business for granted; each purchase is a chance for me to win you over as a life-time customer.
In return, I hope you tell your family and friends about MiniMe BabyGear. It is an honor to me to be recommended.
~Customer Service- when you call MiniMe BabyGear, you are dialing me direct. I know about every product on my site, and am here to help in whatever way possible. Although I have people that help me out with the other aspects of the business (shipping, website maintenance, etc.), I firmly believe having great customer service is a rare thing.
~Product Innovation- Each of the items listed on my site is something I adore. I get e-mails almost every day from vendors that would like their products listed at MiniMe BabyGear. Only the best and most innovative make the cut.
~Quality-Likewise, each product is high quality. Many are made by fellow stay at home moms. When it comes right down to it, moms are usually the ones that come up with something great that saves time or that babies adore. I guess all those formative years covered in drool are worth something, right?
~Free Gift Wrapping and Card Service- whether it is a gift to yourself or someone else, I love making life a bit easier. Moms are busy enough, sending a gift (packing slip/invoice is always excluded) direct to the recipient is one less step.

Ribbies Clippies
I first came across Ribbies Clippies when I was 16 weeks pregnant, and I honestly was hoping for a girl just so I would be able to use these clips. They are beautifully crafted, yet simple enough to see the most important thing- your child's face. They have a grip on the inside for even the finest hair, and come in the cutest styles to match any outfit.
They sell for $6 per set, with over 150 styles to choose from.
Also made by Ribbies are the fantastically cute gift sets, and beautiful clippies holders.

True, True, True....
Getting to the point is this stimulus is like a last desperation shopping spree on someone else’s credit card. Someone is going to have to pay for it. The Chinese are going to want their money back with interest.

The government cannot give to anybody anything the government does not first take from somebody else. Don't be fooled!

When I started sewing Wet Happened? wet bags a few years ago, who would have ever thought it would turn into this? Once they did so well in Target, I knew there would be copiers. Unfortunately, it is just a part of this industry. I just did not think there would be so many this fast.
I knew it was coming, but that does not mean I am happy about it.
Each one has some gimmick associated- the seams are sealed, the zipper is a different color, it has a unique interior pocket, etc., etc. Bottom line is that the Wet Happened? wet bag history of reliability speaks for itself.
Hundreds of happy customers, an unmatched level of customer service, and beautiful craftsmanship that you can rely on are the reason the Wet Happened? bag continues to be the industry leader.
New Products
These stroller liners, from B & V Kids, are such a wonderful idea. When Bryce came along, it was nice to change my stroller and give it a fresh, updated look. The boring navy was just not cutting it! These are padded and have the strap holes, and are much nicer than many others on the market. Retail: $68.00
I also adore this diaper bag from Gypsy Rose designs. The mix of patterns and different fabrics is so fresh and unique. I love each and every choice. She really does a great job of blending an excellent shaped bag with beautiful fabric. Six interior pockets, $99.00
Coming Soon: The Constructive Eating Set. There actually is a plate that goes with this, too. What I love most about this set is that it is a unique and fun idea for boys. I will be honest, other than the Ellie Bellie Kids Capes or the Applique Onesies, there is not a whole lot out there for boys that does not include Fisher Price, Tonka, or Hot Wheels. Don't get me wrong--we love our cars, but just how many of them does one kid need? These would make an excellent gift, or just a fun idea for creative eating. Retail $18.00

And finally, I am drooling over this hand painted artwork from Jamie's Paint and Design. We love anything surfing or water related, and I fell in love with these name tiles, above. There also is a great selection of adoption, communion, baptism, teacher, or new baby gifts. The birth certificates are personalized, and always great for a keepsake. Starts at $13.00.

Website Feedback
I changed a few of the categories around on the website- and just really took the time to clean up a few of the products and what sections they were listed under.
I would love some feedback, though.
There are so many products that overlap. For example, a diaper bag. It would really fit into "For Moms" and also just the Diaper Bag category.
Q: Would you rather see it in all the applicable sections, or just in the Diaper Bag category?
I feel like it clouds things up when one item is in so many places. I want the item to be found, but I feel it gets overwhelming with so many products in multiple categories....what do you think?
Also, I am adding a bunch of beautiful, handpainted wall plaques. Would a separate "home" category be a good idea, or just lob them all together under great gifts? Perhaps a "personalized" tab?

Newsletter: Long overdue.
This past weekend was spent re-organizing my website (making room for some fabulous new finds) and trying to get Valentine pictures of my little guy.
The MiniMe BabyGear newsletter finds it's way to the back burner quite often.
Look for it on Wed. In the meantime, enjoy these Valentine pixs of Bryce with his new favorite thing:
