Isn't this Brown Tie Onesie adorable? Of course, it doesn't hurt that it is modeled by the cutest little dapper dude, Urban.
Thanks to Stephanie for sending in the pictures of your sweetie! He is adorable!
Simply adorable.

Progress Report: Fail

If I were a teacher, my report card for posting this week would be a big fat zero.

A sick kiddo, working on a new project, non-stop orders, and a house that just cannot seem to stay clean were tops on the list.
I was looking for an old picture today and came across this one. It pretty much sums up how this week has been.
So, forgive me for my absence, and I just might share some exciting news. Remember this post? A little birdie told me they are now in stock.

Shopping Cart Covers

Something I use all the time is my Shopping Cart Cover from Itzy Ritzy.
True Story: About two weeks ago, I was entering the supermarket and something caught my eye. Sitting in a shopping cart was an adorable little girl. She looked to be about 15-18 months old. Curly blond hair, with the brightest blue eyes. Simply adorable.
However, coming from her nose was a mixture of green and bloody snot. As it came out of her nose, she would wipe it all over the cart handle.
As I was packing my son into a different shopping cart, I watched in horror as the cart switcharoo took place. The mom graciously offered her cart to another mom, who promptly put her child in the cart.
And put his mouth all over the same cart handle that had just been smeared with snot.
Then and there I decided I would never go without my Itzy Ritzy shopping cover again.
There are other ones on the market, but I promise you that you will fall in love with the plushness of the fabric, the beautiful designer prints, and the overall great quality of this item. It fits perfectly into the seat, and best of all- it is reversible!
Considering just how many times you will use this, it is worth it to get the very best.

Let the Wild Rumpous start

Lately, my sons favorite bed time reading is Where the Wild Things Are. If you have not had a chance to read it, it is a funny children's book. He loves it.

The story is about a boy that sails in and out of weeks, to where the wild things are. They have all sorts of wild rumpous, until he gets hungry and lonely for home. This book has brought about a mini-obsession around here; cute one-eyed monsters are a new fix. This set is a new favorite:

Handmade from the same designer of all the fabulous birthday sets, Liliputians NYC has designed a line of non-birthday children's wear, including this gorgeous Monster Set.

I simply adore the additional details you can customize- if you prefer flannel lined pants, t-shirt sleeve length, and adorable flip up contrasting fabric.

Eight new sets to choose from, retail is around $89.95-99.95 for these one of a kind outfits.

A perfect fit

When Resa Design couldn't find a receiving blanket that swaddled a baby after a few weeks old, they made their own. Made longer and wider than average store bought blankets, you will be able to comfort your baby in ease for many weeks and even months after birth. Available in bold and bright patterns you won't have to tote a dingy and bland blanket again. Resa Design Perfect Fit blankets are turning heads everywhere they go.
I have worked with Resa Design for a long time, and can honestly say she inspires me. Her lines are always crisp, meticulously sewn, and beautiful to look at.
At $16, compared to other swaddling blankets upwards of $44, this blanket is a steal!

New Product Hiatus

I want to take a one day hiatus from blogging about new products. You see, friends, my baby turned one.

We had a most excellent soiree. I am guilty of eating way too much cake, and taking far too much pleasure playing with his new toys.

Bryce-e-Boy enjoyed the attention, but cared far more about the teeny sprinkles than his smash cake.

A great time was had by all.

In honor of this celebration, the next 20 people that order will be entered into a drawing for a $20 MiniMe BabyGear gift card.

'Cause I'm nice like that.

So get our your party hat, let out a Woot Woot, and go shopping.

Coming Soon

I gasped when I saw these.
Gasped, I tell you.

I am in love.

They should be here around end of April. In the meantime, feel free to drool as you see fit.

Dani Bags

My four year old loves to carry my diaper bag. Except he normally does not carry it, he drags it on the ground.

I watched in horror as it was pulled through a pile of dirty snow.

Here is what is fantastic about the Dani bags: they stay clean.

The exterior has a plastic lining over it, so all you have to do is simply wipe off the exterior.

That, my friends, is the definition of Made by a Mom. Brilliant..

New Products

In case you have not noticed, there are new products cropping up every day at MiniMe BabyGear. I happen to love finding unique and useful things. One of my customers yesterday sent me this e-mail:

"Jamie, I have no idea where you find the time to add such unique and fun items. Some things I have never even heard of, never even knew existed. I love the new clothing line for Spring- the colors and little girls are amazing."

Thanks, Sherri. I love the clothing line from K Bella Bambino, too.

We will see how long I can keep this up, but I plan on featuring a product a day for the next month.

Starting tomorrow:-)
