Introducing: Princess Burps, new sale section, and new ribbon choices

You know that feeling you get when you have stared at a computer screen too long? I have it- my eyes feel downright bug-gy.

For a while now, I have promised a friend that I would come up with a Princess themed burp cloth- it has literally sat on my table waiting to be photographed for weeks. With "Princess" embroidered in pink and matching "Pretty as a Princess" and princess themed-glass slipper, crowns, flowers ribbons, this will be a sure hit for that little princess in your life. Personalized under the "Princess" with your choice of first name. Retails for $9.95, available now at MiniMe BabyGear.

Also new: sale section. Many items I have in inventory here do not fit into any current category. Perhaps I sold an item in the past and discontinued the line, or maybe the font was larger than usual, or simply just items I want to give you a good deal on- all of these will be under the sales section soon. I only added three items tonight, but I have many more waiting to be added. chekc back soon, and Happy Shopping!

I also updated and added many ribbons. If you do not see what you are looking for, please contact me and I will try to accomodate any and all requests.

Coming soon: Goodfather DVD's and Hair Clips, and the totally redesigned Diva Robes

Tagged!

I was tagged today by my friend Kelly over at Start Up Princess. If you own a business and have not checked out Start Up Princess, you are missing out. Her blog is full of great tips on PR help, marketing, website design, time management --to name a few. What I love most is that she finds all the great information so I do not have to!
Anyway, she tagged me to list a few reasons why I blog. Since I love the suspense of countdown, here it goes:

3. It is an easy way for me to keep all of my customers updated regarding what is going on at MiniMe BabyGear. When I add or change items, it is nice to have a place to bring them to your attention. More than that, it is fun to hear feedback and get ideas from readers.

2. I love to share information. Whether it is starting a home-based business, a favorite great book I am reading, or another great website I found, I love sharing.

and the number one reason--I love getting to know people through blogging. I maintain a personal and business blog, and have met so many unique and talented people through blogging.

Blogging connects people, and I am so fortunate to come across so many intelligent and caring people online.

Congrats to Marina Westerdahl, GissyBella

Marina has been mentioned a few times here at MiniMe BabyGear. She is the owner of GissyBella, maker of the Comfy Crawlers. A couple of months ago, both she and I came across the call for entries for The Costco Connection at StartUpPrincess.com. A magazine produced by COSTCO, they were looking for outstanding women that used COSTCO to start their business. Marina entered a very well written essay about using COSTCO to start GissyBella- everything from creating a website to finding suppliers. Word has it that her husband loves COSTCO so much he took her there on their first date!

It was just announced that she beat out around 1000 other applicants to be named COSTCO's entrepreneur to watch. Keep your eye out for the article, and congratulations to Marina and the whole staff at Gissy Bella!

Introducing: MadebyAngie Wipes Cases

Diapers need changin' ... at least you can look good doing it!

For a minute, think with me about how many diapers you need to change in a day. Yeah, that's a lot. When I had my son, all that was sold were boring white cases, no style, no fashion. Enter: Made by Angie Wipes Cases.

Made with fun and funky prints, this is truly an item that will be used over and over again. Having kids is a dirty job. Made By Angie handmade baby wipe containers make it easy to have fun while doing your dirty work! Sold now for $30, may take up to two weeks

to be shipped. Well worth the wait!

Introducing: Mommy Necklaces

Personalized and Ready for Gifting. Just in time for Mother's Day, we offer you a simple and beautiful gift for mom. Made from Sterling Silver, and hand stamped with your child's name, up to seven letters. Measures about the size of a quarter, and is a special way to commemorate the love and caring a mom brings each and every day to all of her children. Available now at MiniMe BabyGear for $25, additional charms retail for $20

Introducing: Ellie Bellie Capes

Its a Bird, It's a Plane! No, it is your child dressed up in one of these pint sized super hero capes.
I came across these capes a few months ago when I did a product trade with the maker. My son fell in love immediately with his super hero cape, and I absolutely love two things about them:

  • It is a cute option for boys. So many times, dress up is only focused on girl items. Very few companies offer whimsical and fun items for boys, so I love it when I find something for all you fellow moms of boys out there.

  • The personalization- not only is the cape adorable, but it comes with your child's first letter across the back. No more beat up towels scrunched around tiny necks, they have their very own super hero cape for flying over tall buildings in a single leap.

Please allow two weeks for delivery. Sold now at MiniMe BabyGear in your choice of Black Dots/Aqua (shown) or orange on orange. Spoil your little one today with this fantastically fun cape for $30.

Introducing: TushyGear

Changing Pad and Diaper Cluth in one. Beautiful to look at, and so many great designs- 23 fun and fabulous prints to choose from.

Designed by a mother of two, Tushygear includes a convenient way to carry the diaper, wipes and pad. Small enough to fit into a diaper bag, yet self contained so it can be used on its own too. Tushygear's high quality fabric is also machine washable and made in the USA.

The outside of the tote is made with a very soft 100% cotton fabric. The inside material is of the softest fleece- great for babies soft skin. The concealed zippered pocket , designed to hold the diapers and wipes, is a wonderful "perk". The tote itself is tied with a luxurious white satin ribbon which completes the beautiful presentation. Of course, it is completely washable. Buy yours now at MiniMe BabyGear for $38.00.

New Items

It seems not a week goes by that I do not hear from a customer saying, "You know what would be great to offer your customers?", followed by a description of some great handmade treasure. While I am honored that so many people want me to hand make new products for them, it is hard to keep so many options in stock. Developing new products takes so much time, so I am limited in how many new products I can manufacture.

In an effort to offer as many handmade products as I can, I have decided to partner up with some other moms already hand making fabulous items with the same aesthetic you would expect from MiniMe BabyGear. All are proudly made in the USA, and I have fallen in love with each and every new product I am offering.

So, if there is something you would like to see at MiniMe BabyGear, please contact me and I will see if it is something I can make or that I can find some other great mom making. I love new ideas, so keep 'em coming!

Update:

My trusty sewing machine needs to go for a week of relaxation and pampering. It has been a little squeaky lately and is overdue for a general cleaning/maintenance. Due to this, any orders placed after April 14th will not go out until April 24. I will also be going out of town, so correspondence with me will be delayed as well. Thank you in advance for your patience!

I have also added a few new prints for the Wet Happened wet bag, so please check them out!
